We got the whole family together to celebrate my mom's birthday a couple of weeks ago. It was one of those weekends where things just go right. The kids were good, I got to spend some good quality time with my sisters and their kids and my parents. Watching all six grandkids under five singing Happy Birthday to Grandma in each of their very best singing voices (read: totally off key) made my heart smile. I won't ever forget it. It was one of THOSE moments.
I haven't been picking up my camera a lot lately. I'm not sure why. I don't have really any pictures of the weekend but I did manage to get a few cute ones of Charlie and Sarah while they were here. It was fun to actually finally have the time to sit down and play with them and talk to them...can tell my kids are getting a bit older and a little less needy...at least in the baby needy way.
Wait a second...did I just say my kids aren't needy? I took it back when I saw this picture. This is his I-WANT-TO-GO-DOWNSTAIRS-RIGHT-NOW-OR-YOU-WILL-DIE pose. He uses it often. Like every 10 minutes.
I've seen him in exactly that pose :)
WAY TOO CUTE!!
