I'm bored and out of things to say so I'm going to copy a few others and do a giveaway. I'm pretty much in love with etsy. I could spend DAYS pouring through the stuff on there. My SIL said something about soy candles at Cam's party on Saturday and the first thing I did the next time at the computer? I searched for soy candles on etsy. It's sort of a disease.
The only thing you have to do to be eligible is to leave me comment asking me anything you want to know about me. Or if you don't care about me and want to tell me about you, I'd love that. I'm closing comments at midnight on Wednesday.
These are all things that I would love to buy for myself so hopefully you like them too.
There is something about these Hedgehog thank-you cards that make me smile. And I always feel special when I get a special thank-you card. I find that I write a lot more thank-you cards these days than I used to. There is something about getting real mail.
If you don't write thank-you cards and want these adorable gift tags instead, I can do that. You pick. I mean, if you don't write thank-you cards, you do give Christmas gifts to someone, right? Think of how special they'll feel. Oooo letterpress, I love you.
Soy candle in grapefruit. Grapefruit makes me happy. As does the packaging on this candle.
If you hate all of the adorable stuff I happen to love and you win, let me know, I'll send you a $25 gift card to Amazon instead.
READY, SET, GO.
this post just totally made me want to go shop around on etsy. i love it there. :)
now for a question or two) where do you shop for your kids clothes (they are always so cute)? what is your favorite decoration on your christmas tree? what store do you visit the most (not including any grocery store)?
:)

I'll play...I can't think of anything good to ask. Hm...tell me an old work story about my dorky brother.

Maybe you'll pick me because I have a baby who has had diaper rash for 1.5 weeks.
Probably nothing compared to what you are going through in poop-ville. ; )

Would you hang a gong in your living room? What do you think Cameron and Renee will be when they grow up...chef, WWF? Do you think this is cool for a 14 month old: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B00005UOSC/ref=ord_cart_shr?_encoding=UTF8&m=A1VC38T7YXB528&v=glance
How is that for completely random? BTW the party was adorable and fun. Thanks!

You crack me up! I LOVE Etsy! I just started scoping out birthday girl outfits...for my 6 month old.
I usually like to ask how a couple met, but I think you've covered that on your blog before. I'd like to know how your husband proposed?
Also, where you went to college and what your degree is in? Yeah, I'm nebby...

Have you seen this on Etsy? I don't believe there's time to see it all, so maybe I've found one you haven't. If I could justify it I would have many things from her :) http://www.etsy.com/shop/crystalbeutler

Etsy...this is a new one for me...so I poked around and found this...

I might be concerned...the handmade "stuff" might be a little too much for me...I think I need to ease into it?!
Question:
If you could go back in time...just once...and change or relive something...what would it be and why?

I don't want to win anything...I just wanna know what day you want to go see New Moon with me? Oh, and Edward or Jacob? (I'm pretty sure you're going to pick Jacob, but I just need to be sure).
Tara - you know Ski would totally hang a gong in the living room. And I think Bean would too, as long as it was high enough so she didn't have to listen to the kids "bang the gong" all night long :) lol

if you could do something other than be a programmer, what would you do? (assuming you had to work outside of being a mom, i mean).

Hmm...this is a tough one. Ok, here's one for you. I know you love d-town (most of the time), but where else would be your ideal place to live? Let's just pretend that your extended family would also be moving there, so you wouldn't have to worry about being so far away from them.
Here's another strange one for you. What was your favorite subject/class in high school and why? Was it the teacher, or the other people in the class, or did it just come naturally to you?
Hope that helps!

How do you find time to write such personal posts, complete with beautiful photos, all while working and raising two little ones so close in age (all while keeping a semblance of your sanity?)

Laughter: Because it feels so good when you do it.
Q: tell me about something you've done that was so silly or stupid that you laughed until you cried. It can be with someone else, but I would prefer it was just you...alone.
