We did it, we did it, we did it, hooray! Lo hicimos! We did it.
If this month read like another fascinating episode of Dora, whom I might add is pretty much on my FINAL nerve, it would be something like Pumpkins, birthday party, Thanksgiving turkey. Repeat that a thousand times and the episode is over. The End.
It was about as intersting as a Dora episode, I know.
I'm glad I did the posting every day thing. It was fun in some ways and a pain in the ass in others. I'm way behind with photo editing and my dvr is in need of some serious attention. But it forced me to think more about the blog than I usually do, to force me to sit down and write something other than the monthly posts for the kids, which I do like doing and love to look back on, but it's probably boring to everyone else.
I'm curious: Do you like it when bloggers blog super often and you get to hear about where their kids napped this weekend (super fascinating stuff, I know) or would you rather read someone who posts less often?
For me it's not the frequency of the posting that I like/don't like, it's the content. No, I don't like reading a post every single day about what time your kid woke up and and what you did every moment of the day, but if that's mixed in with more interesting content, then I don't mind it. Personally I loved Nablopomo b/c I was guaranteed to have something to read everyday!! I also really like blogs with great photography, and yours falls into that category:)

I like the less frequent ones (like yours, usually!) then it's like a fun surprise showing up in your reader! wow, I am a nerd :)
it seems like when people post every day, no matter how much I like the content their posts just build up in my reader and then because I'm incredibly anal and have to go through all of them it starts seeming more like a chore to keep up with. plus honestly, who has that much interesting content? I'm getting sick of looking at pioneer woman's cows.

I am not generally a fan of bloggers who post everyday for the simple fact that I can't keep up - and much like Kim, I have a hard time just hitting 'Mark As Read'. Varied content is always a big draw (ie., pictures, kid stories, life in general, etc.) . . . I don't really enjoy reading re-caps of the day because it isn't that different from mine - and I have already lived through it.
I am also not really a big fan of NaBloPoMo for the simple fact that it is forced . . . I love the organic, spontaneous posting that blogging allows. That being said, I was pleasantly surprised this year to find people really being creative and fresh with their posting (yourself included.)
