meeting santa

We finally broke down and brought Renee to see Santa at the mall after THREE unsuccessful attempts to take her to see Santa outside with his reindeer at Fitger's. Tell me WHY do they schedule those things from 12-3. I mean SERIOUSLY. She eats at 12 and then naps until 3. Pretty hard to take her to see Santa. Who exactly are they catering too? ANYWAYS the Santa at the mall was sort of creepy and I think he was a jerk because I refused to pay TWENTY DOLLARS for a picture that I could take myself. So here is what I got. Both of them glaring at me. On that note, MERRY CHRISTMAS!
    
And Cam doing what he does best. SLEEPING. Ski wouldn't let me have Santa hold him because he might "drop him on his head." Next year :)
 
Well, he's awake sometimes...it's just usually in the middle of the night!

wow, that santa does not look very jolly!

i hear you about him being creepy. when i worked holidays at bath and body works for a few years in college, the mall santa(s?) would always come in and out of our back hallway in their street clothes, and let me tell you, they just seemed like creepy dirty old guys when they weren't all santa-fied. it kind of ruined mall santas for me. maybe forever. i'll have to try the one at fitger's next year, maybe that would be easier for me. :)

you know the whole sitting on santa's lap thing had to be invented by a dirty old pervert--who else would come up with that? anyway, the best santa ever is Billy Bob Thornton from Bad Santa (which is a great movie by the way). Hope you and the family have a great xmas!
